Keyboard and mouse¶
In the table, Action means Cmd on macOS or Ctrl on Windows/Linux.

| Left-drag on empty canvas | Select multiple nodes with a selection rectangle |

| Click Auto-Layout Graph | Arrange the graph horizontally |
| Shift + click Auto-Layout Graph | Arrange instruction sequences in rows of six, keeping a lone final node on the preceding row |
| F | Focus the viewport on the selected node or nodes |
| Space | Open the node picker at the viewport center |
| Action + C | Copy selected nodes |
| Action + V | Paste copied nodes |
| Del or Backspace | Delete selected nodes |
| Esc | Cancel an active connection drag or close the node picker |

While a text field has focus, shortcuts such as Copy, Paste and Delete apply to that text. Click the canvas or a node header to use graph shortcuts again. This also applies when editing sticky notes or placemat titles.
